We use this data to identify which stories are most popular and to optimize app performance.

We do not ask for personal information unless we truly need it to provide a service to you. If you contact our support team via email, we will receive your email address and any other information you choose to provide. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiries.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

• Google Analytics for Firebase: For usage analytics.
• Google Gemini API: For powering the Rawi AI assistant feature. When you use the AI chat feature, your conversation messages are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate responses. We do not send any personal information (such as your name, email, or device identifiers) to this service — only the text of your conversation is transmitted. Google processes this data in accordance with their Gemini API Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Your conversations are not used by Google to train AI models.
• RevenueCat: For managing in-app subscriptions and purchases.

These third parties have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

3. AI-Powered Features

Rawi includes an AI-powered assistant ("Rawi AI") that helps users explore Islamic knowledge. This feature is powered by Google's Gemini API, a third-party AI service.

• Data sent to AI: Only the text of your conversation messages (your questions and previous chat context) is sent to Google's Gemini API. No personal data such as your name, email address, or device identifiers is transmitted.
• Data storage: Your conversations are stored locally on your device. We do not store your AI conversation content on our servers beyond what is needed to deliver the response.
• No AI training: Your conversations are not used to train or improve AI models.
• Content accuracy: AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate. Users should verify important religious information with qualified scholars.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Payment processing for in-app subscriptions is handled directly by Apple via the App Store. We do not store or have access to your credit card information.

5. Data Retention

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we'll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.

6. Children's Privacy

Rawi does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, please contact us ensuring we can take action to delete such data.
